2. Open lesson powerpoint below and have students follow along and take notes (Provide needed exampled and expand on half-life calculations as needed).
3. Instruct students to click fossil game link below, and follow along with interactive website
3. Assess before moving on.
4. Instruct students to use the fossil

1. Follow along with initial discussion, answering questions and adding material when possible
2. Follow lecture portion of lesson, taking down important information. Ask for clarification of extra examples as needed, and be sure to write step by step procedures as needed.
3. Assess knowledge and ask any questions to clear misconceptions or uncertainties.
4. Play fossil game, be sure to read instructions and added material
Fossil - any preserved evidence of an organisms. Fossils provide evidence of past life. Most organisms decompose before becoming fossils
